Goddess Rising

Acrylic on Canvas | 48×72 inches | 2022 | Divine Feminine

She is standing between worlds.

Her feet are on the earth — that deep red earth, ancient and solid and utterly reliable beneath her — and her hands are raised toward a planet that fills the sky above her like a second sun, blue and swirling and impossibly present. Between those two points — ground and cosmos, red earth and blue planet, the world she came from and the world she is becoming — her body blazes with the full spectrum of light. Every colour that exists. Every frequency the universe has ever broadcast. All of it radiating outward from her in a starburst that has no edges, no end, no place where she stops and the cosmos begins.

Because there is no such place. That is what she just discovered.

Goddess Rising is a painting about the moment of awakening — not the gentle, gradual kind that happens over years of quiet practice, but the sudden, total, irrevocable kind that arrives without warning and leaves nothing unchanged. The dark night of the soul is over. She survived it. She stood in that darkness — naked, undefended, stripped of every identity she had been given or had built for herself — and she did not disappear. She discovered, in the stripping away, that what remained was not less than she had been. It was infinitely, cosmically, incomprehensibly more.

The wings are new. Still white, still unfurling, still discovering their own span — the wings of a being who has never used them before and is only now understanding what they are for. They spread behind her with the particular quality of something that has always been there, folded and waiting, that simply needed the right moment to open. She is not flying yet. She is standing. Feeling the full weight and the full lightness of what she has become. Learning the geometry of a body that now includes wings.

Around her — the solar system bears witness. Jupiter in its magnificent banded complexity. Saturn wearing its rings with the quiet authority of a planet that has been turning for four billion years and will be turning long after every human question has been answered. Earth, seen from outside for the first time — the overview effect that astronauts describe, that shift in consciousness that happens when you see the whole planet at once and understand, cellular-deep, that the boundaries drawn on maps are stories we told ourselves and nothing more.

She sees all of it now. That is what the 5D offers and the 3D cannot — the galactic perspective, the view from outside the system, the understanding that the dark night of the soul was not a punishment or a failure but a necessary dissolution, a chrysalis, the darkness that every transformation requires before the light becomes possible.

She is outlined in neon pink — the boundary of her body made visible, luminous, certain. She knows where she ends. She knows where she begins. And she knows, now, that those boundaries are not walls but membranes — permeable, radiant, in constant conversation with everything around them.

The 3D she shed is still there, beneath her feet. The red earth. The ground. The body that walked through the dark and came out the other side with wings. She is not abandoning it. She is completing it. Feet on the earth, hands in the cosmos, wings spread for the first time, the whole rainbow universe radiating outward from the place where a woman stood and decided — finally, completely, without reservation — to become what she had always been.

A Goddess. Rising.
